KTI is currently providing materials testing and special inspections for the new Blue Valley Center for Advanced Professional Studies. KTI’s services include testing of soils, placement of reinforced concrete, floor flatness, masonry, weld bolt and steel frame inspection, pier certification and asphalt pavement.
KTI provided Resident Inspection services for additions to fifteen elementary schools located throughout Lee’s Summit, Missouri. KTI provided testing and inspection of concrete, bolts in concrete, placement of reinforcing steel, placement of concrete, verification of soil bearing capacities, high strength bolting, steel framing inspection, structural masonry and shop fabrication. The list of elementary schools are Cedar Creek, Greenwood, Hawthrone,, Hazel Grove, Highland Park, Lee’s Summit, Meadow Lane, Pleasant Lea, Prairie View, Richardson, Summit Point, Trailridge, Underwood (pictured), Westview and Woodland Elementary.
KTI is currently providing materials testing and special inspections for a new elementary and middle school located in Basehor, Kansas. KTI is performing testing and inspection of concrete, bolts in concrete, placement of reinforcing steel, verification of soil bearing capacities, erection of precast, high strength bolting, structural welding, steel frame inspection, structural masonry and shop inspection for structural steel, shop inspection precast, site work: asphalt pavement, site work: concrete pavement.

Educational facilities provide unique challenges during the construction phase, commonly including extensive structural masonry, and a unique combination of steel and structural concrete. KTI's experience with schools includes the construction of brand-new facilities and extensive renovations to existing facilities. KTI has served five school districts in and around the Kansas City Metro in the past three years alone.
